The next step is selection of the most convenient way of opening of door. There are many factors to be considered because one might choose traditional hinged door, sliding, folding or accordion door. Hinged door is the most popular but before choosing it, it is worth considering whether it would be easier to open the leaf to the right or to the left. It is influenced by space in a room, arrangement of furniture but also arrangement of light switches.
Choosing the sliding door, one has to remember that much wall space for moving of door should be required. On the other hand, accordion door is the most delicate - it will not prove useful in rooms where draughts occur or where children would often pull it.

An important criterion of choosing a correct model of door leaf is also its design. Models of simple form will be perfect both for a traditional and very modern interior.
